Insurance
Andrew Hiemstra, LMFT currently accepts most Aetna Insurance plans.
We use Headway to manage billing and admin related to insurance so that we can place all of our focus on our work with clients. Headway manages everything related to payments and insurance to make things as easy as possible for you. as well! Once we set up your client profile, you will also be contacted by our team at Headway team with an email to help you set up your account and add your insurance and payment details. You'll see your cost per session ahead of time and can check your benefits through the client portal.

Private Pay Clients
Steffi and our intern(s) do not accept any insurance plans and accept private payments.
Superbill
A superbill shows an itemized list of services that you have received from an out-of-network provider. It’s like a detailed invoice or receipt. A superbill is automatically populated by our system and uploaded to your client portal each month. We are also able to create one for you at anytime upon your request.
It is the client's responsibility to contact their insurance provider to see if they will reimburse for out-of-network therapy.
FSA/HSA
Many clients utilize an FSA/HSA account to pay for their therapy. We at Cactus Wren are happy to accept payment in this form at the time of service. There is a $4.50 processing fee added to all payments made by card.
Sliding Scale
We do offer a few sliding scale spots to clients who demonstrate financial need. These spots are limited and are the discretion of the practice owner, Steffi Butler, LMFT.
Credit Card/
Cash
We accept payment through all major credit card services. Payments made by Credit Card are charged a processing fee of $4.50 per charge.
We also gladly accept cash payments at the time of service. We do not keep cash onsite, so exact change is necessary.
